OBJECTIVE: Support and connect parents navigating life with young children in Washington, DC by creating honest, practical content that balances emotional validation with actionable ideas—especially during seasons of uncertainty and stress.
💡 CHALLENGE
During a time of heightened uncertainty for families, caregivers needed trustworthy, practical content that could help them navigate parenting, learning, and daily life while staying connected to their local community.
⭐️ MY ROLE
Created original content focused on parenting, caregiving, local resources, and family activities, while serving as website editor for approximately one year. Managed and refined 5+ contributor articles per week, ensuring content was clear, accessible, consistent, and engaging for family audiences.
📣 RESULTS
Delivered timely, relevant content that supported families throughout the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining editorial quality across a diverse contributor network. Helped strengthen the site’s role as a trusted resource for parents and caregivers in the DC area.
