Mission and Focus
My work is guided by a simple mission: to create media that inspires curiosity, learning, and meaningful connection. I focus on content that doesn’t just entertain, but empowers audiences—helping children explore the world, supporting caregivers in everyday challenges, and connecting people with science, nature, and ideas that matter. I strive to balance creativity with clarity, and innovation with trustworthiness, so content is both compelling and credible.
Raised in a small town in Maine, I experienced firsthand how media can open a window to the wider world. Today, I live in Washington, D.C. with my husband and three young children, who keep life playful, busy, and endlessly curious. I am also a caregiver for a parent with Alzheimer’s, which gives me a personal lens on content that supports people navigating complex life transitions.
I bring deep expertise in cross-platform strategy, content development, workflow design, and audience engagement. Recognized for fostering collaboration and mentoring teams, I’ve contributed to projects that deliver measurable impact—from Webby-winning campaigns at PBS KIDS to internationally distributed YouTube and broadcast series at Nat Geo Kids. I’m comfortable managing everything from editorial strategy and production to analytics, promotion, and licensing frameworks, always keeping audiences and mission at the center.
While my career has been rooted in educational media for kids and families, I’m eager to collaborate on projects that extend learning and connection beyond the screen for any audience. I am especially drawn to work that builds confidence, fosters understanding, and supports real-world engagement, whether through digital campaigns, video content, or interactive experiences.
